The first event of the SFLN was a one day forum held on November, 2015 in Saskatoon, with representation from Aboriginal, Special Needs & Disabilities, Newcomers to Saskatchewan, Seniors, Underbanked/Underserved. Workplace & Employment. and Youth & Children in attendance; From this event was the conclusion to move forward and create a formal organization with the aim of helping people across the province make informed financial decisions. The SFLN will gather and distribute information to ensure consumers are well-equipped to make decisions that affect their livelihood and their future.
